Welcome to my personal web page. This wabe page is in the process of construction and will have in the near future new "stuffs " posted. Actually I hold a position as Senior Research Analyst in the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington DC.

 Before coming to IFPRI, I finished my Master of Science in Geography in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My undergraduate studies were in Zamorano University located 30 minutes east from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. There, I graduated as Agricultural Engineer with a Minor in Natural Resources.

My research interest involve the analysis of spatial data applying GIScience and remote sensing principles. Research topics that I have worked during my graduate studies include epidemiology, ecology, natural resources, watershed modeling, and precision agriculture. I am also involve in real estate and location analysis in Honduras.

At IFPRI, my current work involve a wide range of projects  from applied spatial data analysis in topics related to demography, market access, spillover effect, and productivity of Maize in West and East Africa
